About us

My husband and I started our antique business in 1993.

At that time period, it was in the flea markets and antique fairs in France that we got our start.

A few years later, we opened a shop in the Village Suisse, close to the Eiffel Tower, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. At the same time, we also had a shop in the heart of London. At that time period, our business was focused on beautiful old English furniture, such as large bookcases, billiard tables, large partner’s desks liner cabinets from the 1930s etc.

Finally, we arrived at the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen. I say finally, because since I was young, this magical place fascinated and attracted me. It was a very lively place, both for its customers and for its often colourful merchants. A microcosm, in a way…. So when the opportunity arose, we didn’t hesitate to seize our chance!

It was here that our business began to evolve, and as large pieces of furniture were difficult to export, we moved into the trade of fine antique luggage. At the beginning, we sold English luggage.

And little by little, Red Rose Antiques has evolved towards luxury luggage such as Louis Vuitton and Goyard . Indeed, as we work in the world capital of luxury, this reconversion appeared natural to us. We also have a real passion for vintage lighting and furniture. We love the large Vintage Chandeliers in coloured glass, the vintage foosball tables with their elegant shapes as well as the works of designers from the 1930s to the end of the twentieth century.

Today, we benefit from almost 30 years of experience in the field of antiques. We have built a solid reputation by offering beautiful pieces with beautiful interiors.

Our clients ask us from all over the world to source “unobtainable” items for them.

The mission of Red Rose Antiques? To offer our customers more than just beautiful objects to enhance their interiors. Our aim is to provide them with the piece that best suits their personality and meets their expectations. We do not lose sight of the criteria of quality and value, so we have to find the item that the client is looking for at the moment but also make sure that its value is well founded and that it will be an investment in the years to come.

Branded objects are key items to decorate interiors but they must be in good condition.

We are very invested in our research, maintaining the criteria of rarity, quality and condition for the full satisfaction of our customers.

As a large part of our sales are exported, we are very well placed with transport companies specialising in antiques and luxury goods to provide a smooth and secure transport solution. We ship all over the world, especially to the USA.

So, whether you come and visit our gallery in person at the Saint-Ouen Flea Market or consult it on our website, we wish you an excellent visit and remain at your disposal for any information you may require…
