Space Age or Mid Century Modern Twirling Medusa Lamp in White Steel and Aluminum

This iconic design creation was born in the mind of Olaf von Bohr for Valenti in 1968 and was called Medusa. It could be used as a table lamp, a desk lamp or as a floor lamp. It was built in Italy, by assembling folded steel slats around a central circle in order to create an enchanting light all around. This modern twirling Medusa lamp projects rays of light all around. White painted aluminum diffuser have been bent and assembled by hand. It features a round black lacquered metal base. It needs two E27 bulbs. It is a perfect light to include in Space Age or Mid Century interiors. It is a genuine piece of art that creates a very pleasant light as well as a fabulous piece of decoration.

Its base is made of a deep piece of shiny black Murano glass that reminds its top black glass ball.Its main body is blown deep matte brown Murano glass, it is a very unusual texture . Then on the top, they have a kind of smoke corroll in streaked glass.Their shades are frosted beige Murano glass. These table lamps are very sculptural and decorative on their own .
