Antique end of the 19th century genuine and superb Louis Vuitton "Malle Courier" or steamer trunk, large size, rare and sought after Tisse' monogram canvas, black color metal bound with brass studs, reinforced with wooden laths, with wheels to the base and metal handles to either end. There are still a couple of traveling tags. It has got a very warm and lively look thanks to its patinated by time woven canvas. It also features custom made painted flag on its sides. Its main lock, made of solid brass is signed, as well as all its brass studs.Its lateches and handles, made of black steel are stamped LV too. Its interior is all original too, lined with a Brand tag on the internal side of the cover reading "Louis Vuitton I. Rue scribe Paris, 149 new bond style London. It is in overall very good condition but please note that its canvas has a little tear on the front, in its lower section as shown on photo... It could be used as a perfect coffee table, a side table or a blanket box and would add a touch of elegance in all types of interiors.

Measure: 76 cm Customized painted French flag and stripes on its sides. Very warm and rich patina.Please note that its solid brass handles on its sides are a little twisted,as shown on photos. This trunk has kept its original interior and has never been relined, it also has kept its original quilting under its lid. It still has got its original Louis Vuitton label as well as its serial number. Its quilting is a little teared on the top right,as shown on photos but is original. Underneath, it was made of zinc to protect it from humidity for travels. It is in beautiful vintage condition as it has to be considering its age, around 100 years old... Perfect to use as a coffee table, blanket box or side table.

This very nice orange canvas Louis Vuitton steamer trunk, features Louis Vuitton stamped solid brass lock, clasps as well as all its studs. Beautiful and rich chocolate color leather trim and handles. Unusual and elegant proportions. It is typically from 1900s-1910s and has got a very warm patina . Its orange color is very deep and beautiful.On each side, it features a very discreet embossed little crown . Its interior still has got its original Louis Vuitton label as well as its serial number (partly erased). There are little stains inside as shown on photos but it is all original, more than 100 years old it is easily understandable. But generally speaking, It is clean and fresh, no smell and it can be used for storage. Underneath, it still has its original orange canvas and its wood slats . Thanks to its custom made removable wood stand, it would be a perfect coffee table or blanket box. Please note that the height of this trunk by itself, without its removable wooden stand is only 34 cm tall. So , including its stand, its height goes from 34 cm to 49 cm.
