This very rare and highly collectible Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama Cotteville 40 trunk was born from the celebrated ultra limited-edition collaboration between the Louis Vuitton and the renowned contemporary artist in 2023. Crafted in classic Louis Vuitton monogram coated canvas, the exterior is adorned with Kusama’s iconic pumpkin motif rendered in vibrant multicolor hues, executed in her signature dot-based, pop-art style. Its 2 sides wear different motives, one side is blue decorated as the other one is mainly orange decorated.
The refined artwork creates a striking visual contrast against the traditional monogram ground, transforming this luxury suitcase into a sculptural design piece. It features all Louis Vuitton stamped solid brass fittings: locks, clasps and studs. Its trim is stamped LV everywhere too. It has got a large and comfortable all leather handle. This trunk exemplifies Louis Vuitton’s exceptional craftsmanship and heritage construction.
As to its interior, it is lined in a vivid blue microfiber, clean and perfectly preserved, offering ample storage and versatility. It also still have its embossed leather label in a shape of a pumpkin, written Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusuma 2023 as well as its serial number.

It still has got its original Louis Vuitton and Kusama dust bag, its Louis Vuitton leather name holder, its leather clochette, its 2 working original keys and its original box. Its box is not in perfect condition. Its dimensions are 40 cm x 15 cm and 35 cm tall. It could be used for travel and also as a piece of high end decoration in beautiful interiors…And it would be perfect at the top of a stack of Louis Vuitton luggage.
