Hermès Vintage Sac Mallette Red Leather Doctor Bag with Gold Plated Accents

Hermes Vintage Sac Mallette was originally designed in the 1920’s. Very unusual, this exceptionally stunning piece is a must have for all Hermes collectors. It features beautiful, rich red leather. Warm gold tone push locks and clasps adorn the front and protective footed bottom. Matching small decorative studs on its front. With a single leather top handle meant to be carried in hand. It also has its original Hermes removable strap.

This 1990’s Sac Mallette features two separate compartments. The top one opens via two sliding side latches and a push button in warm gold brass and features Hermes Paris stamp in gold letters on leather as well as Hermes engraved beneath its push button. It is red leather lined interior with 2 large flat pockets. Its lower compartment is secured with 2 H latches in plated 24 carats gold and once opened, it reveals a red leather interior that could be used to keep valuables safe while travelling. And inside the lower section, there is a hidden hook that you can lock with its original Hermes padlock. Only reachable from its interior. Its interior is in perfect condition, no stain, no smell.

This exceptional collectors piece will come with 2 keys (upper key and lower compartment key’s padlock) and 2 leather clochettes. Its date code is X in a circle. This bag is perfect for travel as well as for every day use, always so chic.
