Its drawer’s inside are very clean Its interior is clean and fresh. It could be used as a kind of closet when it is used vertically or as a spectacular kind of console when it is leaned on the floor. This very rare Louis Vuitton trunk features a rich and very warm light brown leather shaded patina. It features stamped Louis Vuitton solid brass studs, lock and latches. Original leather handles, embossed Louis Vuitton. Once open, it reveals a folding hanging sections with many LV hangers on one side. On the opposite side, there is a series of five drawers wit leather handles. The first compartment is a rolling drawer and this is why there is a space on the top when it is closed. Then there are 3 plain drawers and one more compartment that opens flat for hat and shoes storage. It is perfectly original and complete , nothing has been changed or replaced since 1900s. Despite its age, it is very clean and in very good condition. No smell inside. Please note that its exterior leather has got many stains and a large one behind. But anyway, it in not new and it is more than 130 years old now.... It could be used as a real wardrobe ,as a coffee table because it is perfectly flat sided or a blankett chest.

This Louis Vuitton trunk is very unusual by its dimensions and also due to the fact that it is all leather. Leather has got a very nice and very warm toffee color patina. It still has got its painted customized french flag on the top ans stribes on its sides. Solid brass Louis Vuitton stamped lock, clasps and studs. Many solid copper studs. Large leather handle on the top. Its interior is very interesting too with its removable tray. It also features its original Louis Vuitton label as well as its partly erased serial number. Its rubban making its quilting under its lid is stitched "Louis Vuitton" . All original interior. No smell inside. Underneath, it has kept its original leather and its wood slats are stamped Louis Vuitton. This trunk would be perfect as a side table or a bedside cabinet, it is very chic!

Underneath, it was made of zinc to protect it from humidity for travels. It is in beautiful vintage condition as it has to be considering its age, around 100 years old... Perfect to use as a coffee table, blanket box or side table.
