This English drink cabinet is particularly unusual and elegant. From 1920’s, its drink compartment spins over to reveal on one side a breathtaking interior made of a full set of 6 Baccarat glasses and two Saint Louis Crystal decanters and a kind of storage compartment on the other side. (All its glasses are stamped Baccarat and stamped Saint Louis Decanters). Behind the set of crystal pieces, there is a bevelled mirror back to add depth and elegance to its whole set.
This drink cabinet is reminiscent of a prohibition period bar, hiding its drink compartment in the blink of an eye. Every glass is held inside thanks to an adjusted space as well as the decanters. Its very top is surrounded by a very nice brass gallery. It is raised on four tapered legs joined by a circular undertier with turned gallery.
It is a real surprise cabinet as from one side, one can’t imagine what is hidden but when it spins over on its other side, it reveals its magnificent inside fitting. It is a top quality dry bar with solid hardware. This metamorphic cabinet will add a touch of class to all styles of interiors and will be for sure a great conversation piece.
