Dark Blue Moynat Steamer Trunk

This nice steamer trunk features very unusual dark blue canvas, black lozine trim, large leather side handles and solid brass corners and locks. Its yellow and white painted stripes of customization add personality to this high quality Moynat trunk. It still has got a couple of traveling labels. Its handle latches are marked “Moynat Paris”. It still has got its 2 original Moynat plaques on its sides. Its inside has been relined a while ago exactly as it used to be originally and is really clean, very few stains , no smell. It is perfect for storage. Very nice quilting under its lid.

Customized painted red stripes on each side, no initials. Its patina is warm and elegant. Interior is original too, its still has got its Louis Vuitton label as well as its serial number. Its interior is nice and rather clean , little stains shown on photos. This Louis Vuitton steamer trunk in stenciled monogram could be used as a very elegant coffee table or a blanket trunk. Originally, this trunk by itself is only 33 cm tall . But with its custom made wood stand it becomes higher and it reaches 45 cm tall, the regular height of a coffee table.It is included in price.

Superb 1920's Louis Vuitton Hat box, steamer trunk featuring stenciled canvas, all leather trim in deep chocolate color, solid brass Louis Vuitton stamped clasps, lock and studs, solid brass corners and solid brass LV stamped side handles. Measure: 76 cm Customized painted French flag and stripes on its sides. Very warm and rich patina.Please note that its solid brass handles on its sides are a little twisted,as shown on photos. This trunk has kept its original interior and has never been relined, it also has kept its original quilting under its lid. It still has got its original Louis Vuitton label as well as its serial number. Its quilting is a little teared on the top right,as shown on photos but is original. Underneath, it was made of zinc to protect it from humidity for travels. This 1920's Louis Vuitton Hat box is in beautiful vintage condition as it has to be considering its age, around 100 years old... Perfect to use as a coffee table, blanket box or side table.
