This trunk was a special order made in 1980s .It features monogram canvas, stamped LV solid brass locks, corners and studs. On the top is the leather handle ,Louis Vuitton embossed. Inside is all brown suedine featuring 12 compartments, each one with its matching cushion except one that is missing. it still has got its serial number inside. Its first use was for shoes storage but it is in such pristine condition that it could be used to store many other things: Lingerie, jewels, scarves. It also could be a beautiful side table. This piece is very rare and perhaps a unique piece. It is in very good condition . 1 scratch shown on the 4th and 5th photos.

This very nice orange canvas Louis Vuitton steamer trunk, features Louis Vuitton stamped solid brass lock, clasps as well as all its studs. Beautiful and rich chocolate color leather trim and handles. Unusual and elegant proportions. It is typically from 1900s-1910s and has got a very warm patina . Its orange color is very deep and beautiful.On each side, it features a very discreet embossed little crown . Its interior still has got its original Louis Vuitton label as well as its serial number (partly erased). There are little stains inside as shown on photos but it is all original, more than 100 years old it is easily understandable. But generally speaking, It is clean and fresh, no smell and it can be used for storage. Underneath, it still has its original orange canvas and its wood slats . Thanks to its custom made removable wood stand, it would be a perfect coffee table or blanket box. Please note that the height of this trunk by itself, without its removable wooden stand is only 34 cm tall. So , including its stand, its height goes from 34 cm to 49 cm.

Customized painted blue stripes on each side, no initials.Its patina is warm and elegant. Interior is original too, its still has got its Louis Vuitton label but its serial number is erased.Nevertheless it still has got its lock number . Its interior nice and clean interior, little stains shown on photos. It could be used as a very elegant coffee table or a blanket trunk. A custom made wood stand is available to get it higher and to reach 47 cm tall, the regular height of a coffee table.It is included in price.
