This unusual large Louis Vuitton trunk features beautiful orange canvas, all leather trim in chocolate color, large LV embossed leather side handles, as well as all Louis Vuitton stamped brass lock, clasps and studs. It has got a very nice and rich patina.
Its interior is all beige linen with brown kind of velvet at the bottom for shoes storage, it also has got its removable tray .Quilting under its lid has been redone a couple of years ago exactly as it was originally.
This 1910s Louis Vuitton trunk still has got its Louis Vuitton stamp. It is nice and fresh, no smell. Underneath, it still has got its original canvas and its wooden slats. This Louis Vuitton trunk could be used as a coffee table or a blanket trunk in all chic interiors. Measures: 110 cm.

It still has got its Louis Vuitton label. It is nice and fresh, no smell.
Generally speaking, its interior is rather clean when one keeps in mind that it is over 110 years old. So, obviously, it is not in perfect conditions, there are a couple of stains. Underneath, it still has got its original canvas and its wooden slats.
A bespoke wooden stand wal built in order to have this trunk a little taller. Without its wooden stand, it is only 40 cm tall.
Moreover, as a cabin trunk, this piece is originally taller than regular cabin trunks, it is very unusual.

Customized hand painted stripes add personality to this magnificent Vuitton trunk. Every single stud , its main lock, its clasps as well as its brass side handles are all marked Louis Vuitton. It also still has got its original working key.

This Louis Vuitton Courrier trunk in damier canvas still has hot its original quilting under its lid with the French flag ribban (blue, white and red ) representative of Louis Vuitton production of 1889 commemorating French Revolution's 100th birthday.

Then its inside fitting is all original and very complete too.It has got 1 large removable tray then on the top of this one, another one with many compartments and flaps . It still features its large Louis Vuitton label with its serial number.
Underneath, it has got its zinc bottom that was used to protect steamer trunks from humidity when they were to travel to tropical countries.

Minor fading. Some fading in areas of the checkerboard covered canvas to the outside as well as a large stain on its quilting .
But as it is all original from 1889, it is easy to understand.
