Mid-Century Modern Bar Cart by Louis Sognot, France, 1960’s

This fabulous mid-century modern bar cart features rounded sides with brass slats all around. Its general shape evokes a nautical accent. To open it and reach glasses and bottles, its glass top lifts and can be used to put glasses on. Inside is fully fitted with brass circles to store 7 bottles and 12 glasses and 12 hooks to hang more glasses; it is in beautiful condition. It has got 3 legs with castors and brass fittings.Louis Sognot was a French designer (1892-1970) who created ocean liners furniture and was working with other famous designers as Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret and René Herbst.
