This spectacular mid-century snowball chandelier looks like a flowers explosion.It features a multitude of brass rods ending with bulbs or clear crystal flowers. Each rod is directly fixed on its polished brass central sphere . Its rods are ending with delicate clear flowers and give to this lighting a very unique look. It is covered with Austrian crystal balls and flowers which scatter the light in a unique and very charming way by the small (E14) light sockets .It features gold reflector bulbs in order to hide direct light and to get a very warm and pleasant light. This sputnik chandelier looks at the same time very powerful and extremely delicate.It has a very modern floral and organic style. It needs 32 bulbs. This mid-century snowball chandelier is so elegant and has such a real presence in a room that it will come for sure to turn into a real conversation piece… It is wired for the Us and Europe. Currently it is 110 cm tall but its height could be shorten on special request. It is wired for both Europe and US.

This very nice pair of French mid century sconces by Petitot features gilt bronze and ribbed glass . It was made in France, in 1930’s. Both lights are stamped PETITOT on their frames. They have been rewired and they are 2 bulbs by sconce. This model is called “Cinema Sconces” because ,initially, it was designed for French theaters.These wall lights are in perfect working condition. This pair of vintage mid-century wall lights would be great in a lobby,a living room or a bedroom. Rather big , they could be placed everywhere to add a French luxury touch to every interiors.
The bronze maker Antonin Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Henri took over in 1917. They had their own shop in Paris but were primarily wholesalers, selling their lamps to shops all over France, Europe and the United States. Quickly, in the 1930’s,they became the largest producer of French art deco lighting . Petitot produced precious fixtures in high quality heavy bronze with shades from the most famous French glass manufacturers such as Sabino, Muller Freres, Degue and Schneider.
