This iconic design creation was born in the mind of Olaf von Bohr for Valenti in 1968 and was called Medusa. It could be used as a table lamp, a desk lamp or as a floor lamp.
It was built in Italy, by assembling folded steel slats around a central circle in order to create an enchanting light all around. This modern twirling Medusa lamp projects rays of light all around.
White painted aluminum diffuser have been bent and assembled by hand.
It features a round black lacquered metal base.
It needs two E27 bulbs.
It is a perfect light to include in Space Age or Mid Century interiors.
It is a genuine piece of art that creates a very pleasant light as well as a fabulous piece of decoration.

It is very rare because it is brass plated and its base is beige and gloden. Its shades are in mouth blown Murano glass and they are all original. Moreover, they are very unusual since they are gradient from white color to crystal color and they really look like reeds. They give a very pleasant light. It still has got its original switch on button. Very high quality workmanship in 100% original condition. Fully functional. Five E14 sockets for max. 40W each. It is in very good condition.
