1920s Goyard Cabin Trunk , 110 cm Goyard Trunk in Chevrons Canvas

This superb Goyard trunk features the very sought after chevrons canvas as well as all solid brass fittings: Goyard marked lock. Brass studs. This Goyard steamer trunk has all chocolate brown color leather trims. It is beautiful and has a very rich patina.Its canvas is in very good condition and there is a customized hand painted French flag on the top and stripes on its sides.
Its interior is all original with its red velvet quilting under its lid as well as its large Goyard label .No smell inside.
Its bottom was made in zinc to protect it from humidity in tropical countries travels and its bottom is still stamped Goyard.
This 1920s Goyard cabin trunk is very clean considering it is an antique , over 100 years old steamer trunk. This trunk, on its own is only 33 cm tall.
Please note that a custom made removable wood stand has been done in order to get its total height from 33 cm to 49 cm, that is the perfect height for a coffee table use or a blanket trunk at the end of a bed.
