Rare Moynat Picnic Trunk with Original 1916 Interior

This beautiful and very rare Moynat trunk features beautiful checkers canvas, honey color leather trim, large leather side handles with stamped Moynat solid brass flanges and solid brass stamped Moynat lock and clasps. Its patina is magnificent. Moreover it has a very sought after shape.

It also has got painted customized red stripes on its sides to add to its personality. Round Moynat plaque on each side. It still has got its original Moynat label inside as well as its date of manufacture, 1916. Its interior is original and very clean and fresh considering its age.

It has got a picnic inside fitting with 8 compartments to put standing bottles and glasses and a center removable compartment featuring removable separators fit plates and serving plates. Under its lid is brown felt as well as its inside bottom. This Moynat picnic trunk could be used as a very elegant side table, coffee table or as a perfect nightstand.
