This superb Louis Vuitton cabin trunk is spectacular and very rare. Indeed, its dimensions are huge for a cabin trunk since it reaches 130 cm wide . These dimensions are perfectly unusual and exceptional , almost one of a kind. It is very hard to find and very sought after Vuitton trunk.
At the time of its making, it certainly was a special order .This Vuitton trunk features hand stenciled monogram canvas , light honey color lozine trim and Louis Vuitton stamped solid brass locks and clasps, Louis Vuitton stamped studs as well as large leather side handles. Its patina is warm and elegant.
Interior has been relined a while ago, exactly like it used to be formerly. it still has got its Louis Vuitton label as well as its serial number. Its interior is nice and clean. Its bottom still has got its original monogram canvas.
It could be used as a very elegant and spectacular coffee table or a blanket trunk.

Superb Louis Vuitton steamer trunk featuring stenciled canvas, all leather trim in deep chocolate color, solid brass Louis Vuitton stamped clasps, lock and studs, solid brass corners and solid brass LV stamped side handles. Measure: 76 cm Customized painted French flag and stripes on its sides. Very warm and rich patina.Please note that its solid brass handles on its sides are a little twisted,as shown on photos. This trunk has kept its original interior and has never been relined, it also has kept its original quilting under its lid. It still has got its original Louis Vuitton label as well as its serial number. Its quilting is a little teared on the top right,as shown on photos but is original. Underneath, it was made of zinc to protect it from humidity for travels. It is in beautiful vintage condition as it has to be considering its age, around 100 years old. Perfect to use as a coffee table, blanket box or side table.
