Thick walled casing glass produces a lot of iridescent reflects. It is an iconic piece of the Italian mid century Murano glass design.Signed on the bottom. 18 kg. At the bottom, its diameter is 18 cm and 29 cm at the top.
Spectacular and very rare sideboard created by Vittorio Dassi in the 1940s. At the end, it features two curved doors and in the center there are 3 columns of 2 drawers, so a total of 6 drawers. Each drawer has got Murano Glass handle. Externally it is all richly decorated with an impressive marquetry. Glass top in black opaline. The cabinet is supported by large legs resting on a marble base. This sideboard is a real Italian masterpiece of the period, in very good conditions of the period as the images show, with slight signs of wear consistent with age and gentle use. The wooden inlaid surfaces show sign of age without any damage. It just shows that it is not new, as you can see on photos. Very clean interior.
This impressive executive desk by the 1950s Italian designer, Vittorio Dassi, features a very comfortable 1.5 cm thick floating glass top, underneath, there is another very thick piece of brown glass then two columns of two sturdy drawers.
