It is all hand decorated with the technique of rostrato: spikes of glass have been individually pulled in relief to reach this spectacular 3D effect. This technique is typically Venetian and requires very skilled artisans. Indeed, craftsmen must be very quick in order to pull out all the spikes while temperature is hot enough.
Its textured and sculptural finish plays with lights and reflects.
Its thick walled casing glass produces a lot of iridescent reflects.
